i think it as to do with where the cut was made meaning in each place there is a different amount of tissue and also you would have to be more careful around the head so the cut would not be that big

It is because the cut, in every different place in your body this are different amounts of tissue you cant not treat it because the wound will be infected if you dont take care of it.
