Answer:

8\frac{1}{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

A whole spinach cassarole can be thought of as 100%. If Sam eats 3/4's of it then only 25% of it remains. Of that 25% Jackie and Alicia split that 25% to get 12.5% each. Jackie only eats 2/3's of her portion so now you just take 2/3 of 12.5.

The math looks like 2/3 * 12.5 = 8.333333333%

Melanie walked 2.2 miles. Cathy walked 1.75 times as far. This means that you need to do 2.2 * 1.75 which equals 3.85. To find how much further, do 3.85 - 2.2 which equals 1.65. Therefore Cathy walked 1.65 more miles than Melanie.

Estimate area pls i
NNADVOKAT [17]

Answer:

The simplest (and most commonly used) area calculations are for squares and rectangles. To find the area of a rectangle, multiply its height by its width. For a square you only need to find the length of one of the sides (as each side is the same length) and then multiply this by itself to find the area.
