Then the brain turns the signals into the images you see.Focal vision is involved in examining and recognizing objects related with the macular area of the retina whereas peripheral vision is vision resulting in stimulation of the retina outside the macula. An example of peripheral vision would be looking straight ahead while also being able to see on the side by the eye.
