In his fourth year of his medical school, he was rusticated due to poor performance, the least he could expect of himself. His parents went to the school to plead but it was too late. The provost of the college told Chris's parents that he had called Chris on several occasions to advice and warn him but he would not listen and it is unfortunate that the last straw breaks the camel's back.
