Answer: The most appropriate would be maintaining bed rest in Semi-fowler's position.

Explanation:

Semi-fowler's position is an inclined medical position with the patient resting in a supine position (on her back) at a bed angle between 30° - 45°. This helps to facilitate dependent drainage and control the nausea and vomiting.

Heat can be applied to the abdomen to provide pain relief and comfort.

The Pelvic inflammatory disease should be treated with antibiotics. A urinary catheter is not required unless the infection is severe.
