1.) In an effort to preserve the balance of power in Congress between slave and free states, the Missouri Compromise was passed in 1820 admitting Missouri as a slave state and Maine as a free state.

2.) The main issue of the Missouri Compromise of 1820 was how to deal with the spread of slavery into western territories. The compromise divided the lands of the Louisiana Purchase into two parts. Slavery would be allowed south of latitude 36 degrees 30'.

3.) The Missouri Compromise was struck down as unconstitutional, and slavery and anti-slavery proponents rushed into the territory to vote in favor or against the practice. The rush, effectively led to massacre known as Bleeding Kansas and propelled itself into the very real beginnings of the American Civil War.

lara [203]

Answer:

Interview

Explanation:

An interview is a conversation usually between two or more people, one of which answers the other's questions. Most people often relate the word interview to a journalistic fact, but the interview can also be done in the medical or psychological environment when a therapist seeks information that may help in treating the patient, such as this couple dealing with sexual dysfunction.

The interview used on a client with sexual dysfunction must be done very carefully so as not to embarrass the patient and get all the information necessary to solve the patient's problem. In addition, the therapist or physician should keep the information confidential and use it for therapeutic use only.
