Explanation:

Parallax is a method of using two points of observation to measure the distance to an object by observing how it appears to move against a background. One way to understand parallax is to look at a nearby object and note its position against a wall. If you look with just one eye, then the other, the object will appear to move against the background.

Because your eyes are separated by several centimeters, each eye has a different perspective of where the object is relative to the background. The closer the object is, the more it appears to move relative to the background. This is true in astronomy as well, but on a much larger scale.

In astronomy, the distances to other stars is too great to measure using two objects on the Earth's surface. Lucky for us, the Earth itself moves. If we made two observations of the same star on opposite sides of the Earth's orbit, we would have a separation of 2 astronomical units, or AU. One AU is the average distance from the Sun to the Earth.

This is enough to get a noticeable angle, α, between the star's two apparent locations. In the image above, we can see that by cutting α in half, we get a right triangle where one leg is the distance between the sun and the other star. Lets let 1/2α=p. We can use tan p to find the distance to that star.

tan p = 1AU/p

Since the star will be very far away, we can make the assumption that

tan p is about equal to p. That simplifies our parallax formula to;

p = 1AU/d , or in other words, d = 1AU/p

Astronomical units are not the most convenient units to work with, though, so instead we define a parsec to be the distance to a star that shows 1 arc-second of parallax angle. Our formula then becomes;

d = 1/p parsecs

I’m not too sure what you mean by “aneorobic environment” but alcohol is produced by alcoholic fermentation. Lactic acid is produced in lactic acid fermentation, but they both start off with glycolysis because the whole point of fermentation is basically to produce oxygen when your body can’t inhale enough.

In fetal life, the lungs are not expanded, so most of the blood from the right ventricle is shunted from the pulmonary artery to the aorta through the patent ductus arteriosus. With a few breaths the lungs expand, and blood flows from right ventricle to pulmonary artery into the lungs. Withdrawal of circulating prostaglandin from the mother plus bradykinins released from the expanding lung of the infant cause the ductus to close over a few minutes to hours. The closed ductus remains as the ligamentum arteriosum.

You did not included your list of selections.  Some general properties ascribed to DNA are storage and expression of information and variables through mutations.  Replication, Transcription, Translation and Mutagenesis are the major functions of DNA in a cell.  DNA nucleotides contain deoxyribose.  DNA is double-stranded in the conservative mode, the original double Helix remains a complete unit and the new DNA double Helix is produced as a single unit.  In the double=stranded DNA, Hydrogen bonds hold one complimentary strand to the other.
