Answer:

x=1 y =15

Step-by-step explanation:

hopefully correct

-5x-2y=13 (i)

3x-y=12

-y=12-3x

y=-12+3x (ii)

substitute ii into i

-5x-2(-12+3x)=13

-5x +24-6x=13

-11x=-11

x=1

substitute x into ii

y=-12+3(1)

y=15

.

. . x=1 and y =15

HELP 20 POINTS!
Butoxors [25]
For the first blank where it asks for the perimeter, the perimeter is all the outside sides of a shape added up. So, 6 + 1 + 2 + 4 + 4 + 5 = 22.

For the second blank, you just multiply the entire perimeter by 5, so, 22 times 5=110.

For the third blank, it is basically the same as the previous question. The answer is 5.

For the fourth blank, it is the same perimeter as the first blank, but instead of centimeters, it is in k. So, 22k.

Hope this helped! :)

Type the correct answer in the box. Use a comma to separate the x- and y-coordinates of each point. The coordinates of the point
MAVERICK [17]

Answer:

On a unit circle, the point that corresponds to an angle of 0^{\circ} is at position (1, \, 0).

The point that corresponds to an angle of 90^{\circ} is at position (0, \, 1).

Step-by-step explanation:

On a cartesian plane, a unit circle is

 • a circle of radius 1,
 • centered at the origin (0, \, 0).

The circle crosses the x- and y-axis at four points:

 • (1, \, 0),
 • (0, \, 1),
 • (-1,\, 0), and
 • (0,\, -1).

Join a point on the circle with the origin using a segment. The "angle" here likely refers to the counter-clockwise angle between the positive x-axis and that segment.

When the angle is equal to 0^\circ, the segment overlaps with the positive x-axis. The point is on both the circle and the positive x-axis. Its coordinates would be (1, \, 0).

To locate the point with a 90^{\circ} angle, rotate the 0^\circ segment counter-clockwise by 90^{\circ}. The segment would land on the positive y-axis. In other words, the 90^{\circ}-point would be at the intersection of the positive y-axis and the circle. Its coordinates would be (0, \, 1).

Leokris [45]

Independent variables are variables of a quantity that are not affected by any conditions.

Dependent variables are variables of a quantity that change if conditions relative to that variable changes.

For example, we generally we take x as independent variable by x variable and dependent variable by y variable.

To find the rate of change we get two values of independent variable (x's) and two values of dependent variables (y's) to get two coordinates in form of

(x,1,y1) and (x2,y2).

And we can find the rate of change by applying slope formula

m= \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}.

An individual purchased 300 program licenses; 50 licenses will go to the satellite office out of state, and the remaining licens
laila [671]

Answer:We DO NOT HAVE ALL THE INFORMATION needed to solve for how many licenses each central office department will get.

Step-by-step explanation:

Now, if this very individual acquired about 300 program licenses and 50 licenses are taken or conveyed to the departments in the satellite office of the same organization, then the number of licenses that will be moved to the central office is:

300 - 50

= 250 licenses.

This implies that 250 licenses will be moved to the central office while 50 licenses will be kept/used at the satellite office.

Then, if there are eight (8) departments in the central office of this organization and 250 licenses will be evenly or equally distributed among the departments, each department will get:

250/8

= 31.25 licenses.

Since dividing 250 by 8 does not give a perfect integer, then there's an information we are yet to be furnished with. If 31 is multiplied by 8, it will give 248 which means that 2 licenses will be the remainder. If these 2 remaining licenses are shared equally between the 8 departments, one department will further get quarter of a license and we know licenses can't be shared or used in this manner.

Alternatively, of the 2 licenses remaining, two departments will have an extra license or one of the departments will have the 2 licenses which will now make the license distribution in the central office uneven.

So, we don't have all the information we need to solve for how many licenses each central office department will get.
