"Freakonomics" is a book written by Steven Levitt and Stephen Dubner (2007) in which the authors discuss the hidden side of some issues affecting us. For example, they present some interrogants such as what is more dangerous: a gun or a pool? or why do drug dealers continue to live with their mothers? Hence, they are not the typical questions asked by economics experts. In this case the given excerpt serves as evidence to support the author's argument since they use statistics taken from different years to ilustrate what the bagel data had to say.
The correct answer is EVIDENCE.
I can’t say I know a ton about space travel and how realistic life in space would be, but here’s my two cents: I think expanding our horizons and colonizing places like Mars or living on a space station would have some benefits, like additional space on Earth and additional research possibilities. NASA recently announced that they found water on the moon, as well as on Mars a few years back, showing how new things are being discovered about the universe all the time. However, I think we still have a lot of time to go before life in space is truly feasible. However, I think there we may see some major developments in due time.
