Skills: diving, patience (not really a skill but needed), knowledge of diving equipment etc.

Working hours: There are typically seasons in which they work.

They need to be willing to travel for their work, "pearl diving tends to take place in distant locations, including Japanese lakes, Caribbean tropics, and Australian shores. "

Work conditions: Difficult and dangerous. You are diving in the ocean, this always comes with risks, sharks, riptides etc.

Pay: up to $1,200 a day
