Find the LCM of 25 and 35.<br> (asap plz)
goldenfox [79]

25:5=5\\5:5=1\\\\25=\boxed{5}\cdot5\\\\35:5=7\\7:7=1\\\\35=\boxed{5}\cdot7\\\\LCM(25,\ 35)=\boxed{5}\cdot5\cdot7=175

Other method:

The multiples of 25: 0, 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200, ...

The multiples of 35: 0, 35, 70, 105, 140, 175, 210, ...

I don't understand the first one.
lyudmila [28]
Basically the question is asking if the proportions for the dimensions of the 2 rugs are the same, so in this case yes, since 6 X 8 can be written as 3 X 4 which if you set up a fraction you can easily multiply both the top and bottom number by 3 to get 9 X 12.
