How do you write an equation in slope- intercept form of the line passing through the given points ? (0,7), (1,9)
Airida [17]

y = 2x + 7

the equation of a line in ' slope-intercept form ' is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y-intercept )

to calculate m use the ' gradient formula '

m = ( y₂ - y₁ ) / ( x₂ - x₁ )

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (0, 7 ) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (1, 9)

m = \frac{9-7}{1-0} = 2

given the point (0, 7 ) then c = 7

y = 2x + 7  ← in slope-intercept form

TWENTY POINTS.
earnstyle [38]

Answer: 54 feet or 648 inches.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. You know that 1 inch on the doll house corresponds to 1/2 foot for life-sized objects. Therefore, you can calculate the width of the full-sized house that it's modeled after, as following:

width=\frac{108in*1/2ft}{1in}\\width=54ft

2. Then, the width in feet is: 54 feet.

3. And the width in inches is:

(Keeping on mind that 1 feet=12 inches)

\frac{54ft*12in}{1ft}=648in
