noname [10]

The problem with this problem is I can't tell how much money he has gained because I don't know how much the lemons are actually worth. If the lemons are worth 20 bucks for 10, then he made 4 bucks, but if they are actually worth 20 bucks for 8, then he made 5 bucks. (i believe everything i said is true but i could be wrong)

HARD POINT TUESDAY <br><br><br> ANSWER THIS EQUATION <br><br> -4x - 2y= -12<br> 4x + 8y = -24
Dimas [21]
-4x - 2y= -12\\4x + 8y = -24\\\\\sf Add~ the ~two~ equations~ together~ to~ get:\\\\6y=-36\\y=-6\\\\4x+8 (-6)=-24\\4x-48=-24\\4x = 24\\x=6\\\\\\So,~ the ~solution~ is~ \boxed{(6,-6)}

Lines DE and AB intersect at point C. What is the value of x? A) 12 B) 25 C) 38 D) 52
julia-pushkina [17]

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

∠ACE and ∠ECB form a straight angle whose sum = 180°, hence

2x + 2 + 5x + 3 = 180

7x + 5 = 180 ( subtract 5 from both sides )

7x = 175 ( divide both sides by 7 )

x = 25 → C
