Well In This One, Both Of The Triangles Are The Same, So That Means Its Just Double The Angles. And A Triangle Adds Up To 180 Degrees.

So, For Example
40+57+83=180

So You Just Have To Make Sure It Adds Up To 180 For A Triangle

You got it right
<CDA = <ABC = 40
so

<CAD = 180 - 57 - 40
<CAD = 83

Gary earned an average score of 77 on his first five quizzes. What score will he need on his next quiz to have an overall averag
Lera25 [3.4K]

Answer:

The next score he needs to have an overall average of 79 is 89.

Step-by-step explanation:

Gary earned an average score of 77 on his 5 quizzes . The number of score he needs to have an average of 79 can be calculated below.

average score = 77

number of quizzes = 5

sum of Garry score = a

a/5 = 77

cross multiply

a = 77 × 5

a = 385

let

the next score he needs be  b to score an average of 79

average = 79

number of quizzes = 6

385 + b/6 = 79

cross multiply

385 + b = 474

b = 474 - 385

b = 89

The next score he needs to have an overall average of 79 is 89.

What is the greatest common factor of 24 and 64? Show your reasoning.
Evgesh-ka [11]

Answer:

8

Step-by-step explanation:

Factors of 24: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24

Factors of 64: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64

They share 1, 2, 4, and 8. 8 is the greatest digit in this case therefore it's your final answer.

The side lengths 10, 14, and 15 form a triangle. Explain why.
sertanlavr [38]

Answer:

Therefore, the side lengths 10, 14, and 15 form a triangle.

Step-by-step explanation:

The Triangle Inequality Theorem defines that if we are given the three sides of a triangle, then the sum of any 2 sides of a triangle must be greater than the measure of the third side of the triangle.

The three conditions that need to be met for any triangle with the side lengths A, B, and C.

A + B > C

B + C > A

A + C > B

Given the side lengths of a triangle

  • 10
  • 14
  • 15

Let us check whether it satisfies the three conditions.

10+15 > 14     →  TRUE

10+14 > 15     →  TRUE

14+15 > 10    →  TRUE

As all the conditions are met. Therefore, the side lengths 10, 14, and 15 form a triangle.

Mind my hand writing but I’m not sure what sign to put the “-“ or the “+” ?
Ierofanga [76]

hello!

so the answer that you put there is actually wrong and i'll tell you why and how to do it

so since you are adding the two:

-8x + 9x = x (so you got this part right)

-12 + 4 = -8 (this is where you got it wrong, -12 added 4 goes up in value to -8)

so the final answer is x - 8

i hope this helped and have a nice day!
