Which of the following is NOT transferred by alveoli?
Stolb23 [73]
Aveoli are the small sacks in the lungs, where gases such as oxygen and carbon dioxide are transferred into/out of the blood stream. Blood would be the answer, as blood is not transferred through alveoli; it stays in blood vessels and is oxygenated at the alveoli.

My left hand is warm, right hand is freezing. Does anyone know how or why?
erik [133]
There is a high chance that your condition is related to the way your circulation works. Most commonly, when blood flows in larger amounts and faster then the body part is warmer. When there's lack of blood due to obstructions or anything similar, then it gets colder. You need to get better circulation.
