Answer:

Sarah had the bigger paycheck of $134

Step-by-step explanation:

First we would need to find the total amount of money each one of them made in those 15 hours. We do this by multiplying their hourly rate by the hours worked and then adding the bonus

Jim:  (5*15) + 50 = x

          75 + 50 = x

              125 = x

Sarah: (8 * 15) + 14 = x

             120 + 14 = x

                  134 = x

Finally, we can say that Sarah had the bigger paycheck of $134 which is $9 more than Jim's

What is the equation in point slope form of a line that passes through the points (-8,2) and had a slope of 1/2
AysviL [449]
First you have to plug in your information into the formula- y=mx+b
So we know the y is 2, the slope (m) is 1/2, the x is 2 and we don't know the b. Do plug it in the formula and solve... you should get 2=1/2(2)+b you will end up with 1=b and the final answer is y=1/2x+1

Which statements are true for the given geometric sequence? Check all that apply.
luda_lava [24]

The statements are true for the given geometric sequence.

The domain is the set of natural numbers.

The recursive formula representing the sequence is f(x + 1) = 3/2(f(x )) when f(1) = 4.

The sequence shows exponential growth.

We have given the graph.

What is the geometric sequence?

A geometric sequence is a sequence in which the ratio of every two successive terms is a constant.

The graph is given below we can see that

The domain is the set of natural numbers.

The recursive formula representing the sequence is

f(x + 1) = 3/2(f(x )) when f(1) = 4.

The given graph grows exponentially.

The sequence shows exponential growth
