The correct answer is 34

To solve first multiply whole number
2 times 16 = 32
Then you multiply the numerator in the fraction
1 times 16 =16  
The answer is know 32 and 16/8 
The last step is simplifying. 8 goes into 16 two times
So the final procedure is 32+2= 34
