Answer:

The Munich Pact was approved and signed during the night of September 30, 1938 by the heads of government of the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Germany, with the aim of solving the Sudeten Crisis. The United Kingdom and France were pleased with the wishes of the German population of the Sudetenland and considered this agreement as a partial revision of the Treaty of Versailles. Especially it was intended to avoid a new war, despite putting the existence of Czechoslovakia in great danger.

Explanation:

The pact recognized the aspirations of the Third Reich to annex the Sudeten region, while the governments of France, Great Britain and Italy accepted Hitler's claim to revise the borders of Czechoslovakia and adapt them to German demands, without even formulating the Czechoslovak government a consultation on such an agreement.
