In suffocation, human die in less time because oxygen is needed by our body to produce energy for doing activities so if there is no oxygen leads to no energy so the cells die, while on the other hand, dehydration also takes less time to starvation because our body need water to remain turgor and for the circulation of blood in the body if there is no water, no circulation occurs that leads to death.
