1. The description of America shown in the question above is somewhat correct if we take into account that America was influenced by several different cultures, which still make up American society today, even though this is often not recognized by prejudiced and racist people.

2. Because of cultural pluralism, the American identity cannot be described in words, as that identity is very particular to each individual and how he sees America.

3. The American identity, therefore, represents a great interaction between cultures, however, individualism is still very strong in America, which does not allow the fusion of cultures, but the experience of several cultures that organize themselves as a salad where the ingredients are still visible separately.

Climax: when Sophie decides to go in to and talk to the scientist about her research or not.
Conflict: Sophie is scared the scientist will laugh at her because she is only in high school.
Falling Action: Sophie presents her research.
Resolution: Sophie gets applauded by the scientist for her good work.
