Answer:

Angle 1)  S = 12

Angle 2) Y = 18

Angle 3) R = 27

Angle 4) Z = 15

Angle 6) X = 13

Step-by-step explanation:

Angle 1

is a right angle, 90, use this to find s also

90 = (16s - 102)

90 + 102 = 16s

192/16 = s

12 = s

Angle 6

Angle 6 = 180

180 = 12x+24

180 - 24 = 12x

156 / 12 = x

13 = x

Angle 2

Angles 2 and 4 are a total of 90

Use this to find y

90 = (4y-9) + (y+9)

90 + 9 - 9 = 5y

90 = 5y

90/5 = y

18 = y

Angle 4

Angle 4 and 3 will be the same, us this to find z

2z - 3 = 4z - 33

2z - 3 - 4z = -33

-2z  = - 30

z = 15

Angle 3

3 and 5  together from 180

this mean

r + 5r + 18 = 180

6r = 180 - 18

6r = 162

r = 162 / 6

r = 27

Can anyone answer this question please<br> 6[y-2]/7-12=2[y-7]/3
Kaylis [27]

Answer:

y =47.5.

Step-by-step explanation:

First eliminate the fractions by multiplying through by the LCM of 7 and 3 which is 21:

21* 6[y-2]/7-21*12 = 21*2[y-7]/3

18(y - 2) - 252 = 14(y - 7)

18y -36 - 252 = 14y - 98

18y - 14y = -98 + 36 + 252

4y = 190

y = 190/4

y = 47.5.

Ive been having this question for a while "what do you use first PEMDAS or Order of Operations". Well you might say it doesn't m
IgorLugansk [536]

Answer:

Order of Operations was aught at a younger age for those just grasping the idea of multiplication and division. Exposing PEMDAS at a young age would confuse them too much, hence the order of operation groups, addition/subtraction and multiplication/division. So for the second example problem, PEMDAS would be correct because it does involve you to use parentheses as well as exponents to solve for. Very easy to mix up between order of operations and PEMDAS, but just look at it as if Order of operations is a beginner level of PEMDAS.

The sum of two numbers is 84. One number is 6 more than the other. What is the smaller of the two numbers?
Pachacha [2.7K]

Answer:

The answer is 36. Say 42 + 42 is 84. Since one of the number is 6 more than the other, add 6 the first 42 and subtract 6 from the other number which will be 48 + 36 = 84. So the smaller of the two is 36.
