Im not sure if you need the work, but the answer is 3.8 hours. you make them into fractions, like in one hour ann could build 1/5 of the model car and sam 1/15 of the car. you use that to then find 1/x (how much they could build together) and multiply by the lcd. Its complicated sorry i cant explain well lol

a company is considering purchasing the mineral rights to two different mountains. the probability that it will purchase the min
Licemer1 [7]

The probability of purchasing mineral rights to exactly one of the two mountains is 0.51.

What is probability ?

Probability turned into added into arithmetic to are expecting the possibility of an occasion occurring. Probability essentially approach how in all likelihood it's miles that some thing will happen. This is the fundamental principle of possibility and is likewise utilized in possibility distributions to examine feasible consequences of random experiments.

Calculation

Given information:

A company is considering purchasing materials:

The probability of purchasing mineral rights

Form the first mountain P1 = 0.55

From the second mountain P2 = 0.4

As the decision is made independently

So, P(P2∩ notP1) = 0.55 * 0.6

P(P2∩ notP1) = 0.33

Similarly, the value of

P(P2∩ notP1) =0.4 * 0.45

P(P2∩ notP1) = 0.15

Hence ,

P = 0.33 + 0.18

P = 0.51

Hence , the probability of purchasing mineral rights to exactly one of the two mountains is 0.51.

Factor the following expression.
x2 + 9x + 14
x2 + 9x + 14 =
vampirchik [111]

Answer:x = 7

x = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

The first term is, x2 its coefficient is 1 .

The middle term is, -9x its coefficient is -9 .

The last term, "the constant", is +14

Step-1 : Multiply the coefficient of the first term by the constant   1 • 14 = 14

Step-2 : Find two factors of 14 whose sum equals the coefficient of the middle term, which is -9 .

     -14    +    -1    =    -15

     -7    +    -2    =    -9    That's it

Step-3 : Rewrite the polynomial splitting the middle term using the two factors found in step 2 above, -7 and -2

                    x2 - 7x - 2x - 14

Step-4 : Add up the first 2 terms, pulling out like factors :

                   x • (x-7)

             Add up the last 2 terms, pulling out common factors :

                   2 • (x-7)

Step-5 : Add up the four terms of step 4 :

                   (x-2)  •  (x-7)

            Which is the desired factorization

Amy regularly works 20 hours per week at Pook’s Dry Cleaners from Monday through Friday. She earns $8.10 per hour and receives d
Evgesh-ka [11]

Answer:

20 × 8.10 = $162.00 per week

8.10 × 2 = $16.20 (double-time pay rate)

16.20 × 8 = $129.60 (double-time pay)

162 + 129.6 =  $291.60

Amy's total pay will be $291.60.
