Hawaii is a place like no other. It is made up of 132 islands. People live mostly on the seven largest of them. Hawaii was once

its own
country, Kings or queens ruled over the land. In 1959, Hawaii became the 50th state of the United States.
Many people visit Hawaii each year. They come for its warm weather. They also come to experience the many customs. One of these
customs is the hula. The hula is a type of dance that tells a story. If you go to Hawaii, be sure to say "aloha." People use it when saying "hello" and
"goodbye." In fact, Hawaii's nickname is the Aloha State.
