Answer:

Micheal is 14

Step-by-step explanation:

First you need to minus the 25 from 53 to see how old they both are without the age difference, 53-25=28. Since we are looking at 2 people, we need to divide this number by 2. From this we get 14. Now 14+25=39. So we can prove that our answer is valid. Ergo, Micheal's age is 14.

mr Goodwill [35]
It's a because 5 divided by 9 equals .555555555555556. The 6 is just from rounding the number. Otherwise the five would go on forever. The bar means go on forever. So it .5 with a bat over the 5

Aaron’s mother purchases a new computer for $1750. If she claims a linear depreciation (loss of value) on the computer at a rate
kirill [66]

After 8 years the value of the computer to be $0 if the Aaron’s mother purchases a new computer for $1750.

What is a sequence?

It is defined as the systematic way of representing the data that follows a certain rule of arithmetic.

We have:

Aaron’s mother purchases a new computer for $1750. If she claims a linear depreciation (loss of value) on the computer at a rate of $250 per year.

The above problem can be solved using concept of arithmetic sequence

The starting value = $1750

After one year = 1750 - 250 = $1500

After second year = 1500 - 250 = $1250

Common difference = 1500 - 1750 = -250

a(n) = 1750 + (n - 1)(-250)

a(n) = 0 (final value is zero given)

0 = 1750 + (n - 1)(-250)

n - 1 = 7

n = 8 years

Thus, after 8 years the value of the computer to be $0 if the Aaron’s mother purchases a new computer for $1750.

PLS HELP ASAP PLZ PLZ PLZ
KIM [24]
I am unsure about the very last problem but I can help with the first two

1) (y+1)+4

If we combine the numbers 1 and 4, we get +5 and can isolate the numbers from the variable.

This would give us

y + 5 =

2) (6*r)*7

remember that we do not have to explicitly state 6*r

Instead, we can write it as 6r

this helps us get rid of the parentheses

now we can write it as 6r * 7=

I hope this helps!:)

Hello,

The multiples of 7 are 7,14,21,28,35,42,49 : 7 balls
The multiples of 5 are 5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50 :10 balls
In total there are 50 balls
But there is a commun ball 35

p=(7+10-1)/50=16/50=8/25=0.32
