Answer:

Texas boasts many of the nation’s leading medical and research facilities. Baylor College of Medicine is one of the leading medical schools in the nation and ranked 6th in the nation in research. University of Texas Health Science Center researchers received the Nobel Prize for their work linking cholesterol to heart attacks, the Texas Emerging Technology Fund attracts top researchers to the state, and the state, overall, invests millions of dollars in medical research. Despite all of these medical advancements, the 21st century cost of healthcare has risen a great deal, which can make healthcare unaffordable for many Texans. In addition, Texas will need to address the healthcare needs of a growing senior population of citizens during the 21st century.

What were the nuclear weapons at the start of and throughout the cold war
irina1246 [14]

Answer:

Atomic bombs have been used only twice in war—both times by the United States against Japan at the end of World War II, in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. A period of nuclear proliferation followed that war, and during the Cold War, the United States and the Soviet Union vied for supremacy in a global nuclear arms race.
