Explain why the Greek culture might not have survived if it had not been for
Alexander the Great
vagabundo [1.1K]

Explanation:

Alexander was the ruler of the Greek kingdom and he had such a deep and intense impact on the Greek and Asian culture that it is because of him that these culture survived.

Firstly, he demolished the Persian culture and taken control over it. Alexander had a strong motive for the Greek culture. And it was only because of his aspiration that Greek ideas and culture have evolved this far, without him it would have restricted only Greece. For Greek people, Alexander is their Almighty. There’s a reason why Alexander is addressed as ‘Alexander the Great.’

When america's "containment" policy failed in china, the blame was placed on?
Oliga [24]
This is from quizlet....US public stunned that China had become Communist. Containment had failed! In Congress, conservative Repubs, Democrats attacked Truman administration for supplying only limited aid to Chiang. If containing communism was important in Europe, why wasn't it equally important in Asia? State Department replied by saying that what had happened in China was result of internal forces. US had failed to influence these forces, like Chiang's inability to retain the support of his people. Trying to do more would've only started war in Asia, war that US wasn't prepared to fight. Some conservatives in Congress rejected this argument as lame excuse. Claimed US government was riddled w/ Communist agents. Like wildfire, US fear of communism burned out of control, flames were fanned further by events in Korea the next year.
