5 cars and 9 motorbikes had their tires changed.

14-9=5 cars

9×2=18   5×4= 20 (add together) = 38 tires

gavmur [86]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

An animal rescue group saved 50 baby birds and 44 adult birds during the month of August. Ratio of baby birds saved to adult bird saves is expressed as number of baby birds saved divided by number of adult birds saved. So the ratio of baby birds saved to adult birds saved for august becomes

50/44 = 25/22

the ratio of baby birds saved to adult birds saved for September becomes

36/30 = 6/5

6/5 is the biggest ratio, hence , the ratio of baby birds saved to adult birds saved is higher in September.
