Answer:

35x-35y+21 is the resulting expression

Step-by-step explanation:

Simplify the expression: 0.5(20x-50y+36)-0.25(-100x+40y-12)

The distributive property says that:

a\cdot (b+c) = a\cdot b+ a\cdot c

Apply the distributive property we have;

10x-25y+18-(-25x+10y-3)

remove the open bracket and distribute -1 into each terms.

10x-25y+18+25x-10y+3

Combine like terms;

35x-35y+21

Therefore, the resulting expression we get, 35x-35y+21

.5(20x-50y+36)-.25(-100x+40y-12)
10x-25y+18+25x-10y+3
35x-25y+18-10y+3
35x-35y+18+3
35x-35y+21

You order the hardcover book shown from a website that offers free shipping on orders of $25 or more. Write and solve an inequal
jenyasd209 [6]

Answer:

If P= price of the hardcover book, then

We have to spend $25-P, if P<$25; or $0 if P>= $25

Step-by-step explanation:

Lets call P the price of the hardcover book, in $. We can suppose that P is less than 25, otherwise we shoudnt spend on anything else to get the free shipping. If X is the amount that we have to spend to reach 25, then we get that P+X = 25. If P is known, we can obtain X by substracting P in both sides, therefore

X = 25-P

We conclude that if the price of the book P is less than 25, then we have to spend $25-P. Otherwise we have to spend 0.

An image formed by a circular spotlight has a radius of 124 centimeters. What is the area of the circular image? Use 3.14 for pi
Lemur [1.5K]

area = pi X radius squared

so area = 3.14 x 124^2

= 3.14 x 15376 = 48,280.64 square centimeters.

What is conditional frequency, and how do you determine which value is the denominator?
pantera1 [17]
In the two-way table, It is used to examine relationships between categorical variables. and the entries in the cells can be relative frequencies, that we known as "Conditional Frequency/distribution"

In order to determine the denominator, we add all the values in given column, and for second column,we add all the numbers in 2nd column, & it would be the denominator for each & every cell in that column.

If Scatter plot has no association, then it would not indicate any trends. It means, progression of number can't be formularized in a specific way, 'cause there is no relation between the numbers

Hope this helps!
