Although lifting weights and yoga is a good start, it isn't the most ideal for an everyday workout. Some workout ideas they could add could be lunges, situps, planks, and the good old fashion pushup :)
For diet, it's good to eat things with high protein, but make sure to get your daily calories in, as well as your other vitamins, as if you don't have a balanced diet you could hurt your body. Some foods could be eggs, nuts, orange juice, fruits/vegetables, and lean meats. :)
