Answer:

Light intensity and temperature are the two limiting factors that can decrease if present at extremely high levels.

Explanation:

The number of limiting factors that interact to make photosynthesis work such. The major factors are- carbon dioxide, temperature, and light intensity, however only light intensity decreases the photosynthesis process if present excessive high levels.

Up to a certain level, light intensity tends to increase photosynthesis but after that level, it stops and if light intensity goes at an extremely high level it might decrease photosynthesis process.

At extremely high temperatures (above 104° F) the enzyme can be damaged and decrease the photosynthesis process.

Without enough light, a plant cannot photosynthesize very quickly, even if there is plenty of water and carbon dioxide.

What happens to the phosphates when plants and animals die?
andrew-mc [135]

Answer:

When plants and animals die, organic molecules also undergoes decomposition and this causes the incorporated phosphates to go back to the soil or bodies of water.

Explanation:

Phosphates are naturally related to <u>"phosphorus."</u> <em>They play a vital role in the life of animals and plants. </em>Phosphorus can be commonly be found on the earth's land and water (although the land has a smaller amount of it). <u>Plants naturally absorb phosphate from where they're growing. Animals take up phosphates by eating plants.</u> The phosphate that plants get from the soil are considered inorganic. They only become organic when it is incorporated into the plants DNA (since this is an organic molecule).

So, this means that if there's a sufficient amount of phosphate, there will be more plants on earth as it is also important in the process of acquiring nutrients.

When animals and plants die, all of the organic molecules such as phosphate also breaks down and thus, it falls back to the soil or bodies of water. Then, they are ready to enter another Phosphorus cycle.

All animals must be able to take in information and react to their environmental conditions. Describe the organs and organ syste
Artist 52 [7]

Answer:

Nervous system

Explanation:

The nervous system in humans work together to collect information about the external environment because they consist of the brain, spinal cords and neurons. They collect information from external environment and those information travels through neurons from sense organs like eyes, ears, skin e.t.c as a form of electrical impulses. When they get to the end of the neuron, a chemical called neurotransmitters are released which travels across the cells and send it to the brain, the brain then process it and interprete the signals and respond to it as stimulus.

A woman and a man are both heterozygous for a recessive allele for a rare genetic disease. If they have one child, what is the p
makkiz [27]

Answer:

  • If they have one child, the probability that he or she will be affected is 1/4.
  • If they have two children, the probability that at least one of them will be affected is 7/16.

Explanation:

A cross between two heterozygous Aa individuals will produce the followinf offspring: 1/4 AA, 2/4 Aa and 1/4 aa.

Since the disease is recessive, 1/4 of the offspring will have the <em>aa </em>genotype and 3/4 of the offspring will be unaffected.

Every time they have children new gametes were generated <u>independently</u>.

The probability of having <u>no</u> affected children both times is, according to rules of probability for independent events, 3/4 × 3/4 = 9/16 (it's the probability of having a healthy child the first time multiplied by the probability of having a healthy child the second time).

The probability of having at least one affected child is 1 - probability of no affected children = 1 - 9/16 = 7/16.
