Answer: Arm routine = 11 minutes

Abdominal routine = 22 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the minutes used for an arm routine be represented by x.

Let the minutes used for an abdominal routine be represented by y.

Last week, he worked out for a total of 88 minutes by doing 2 arm routines and 3 abdominal routines. This can be expressed as:

2x + 3y = 88

This week, he has completed 4 arm routines and 1 abdominal routine and spent a total of 66 minutes exercising. This can be expressed as:

4x + y = 66

2x + 3y = 88 ...... i

4x + y = 66 ...... ii

Multiply equation I by 4

Multiply equation ii by 2

8x + 12y = 352 ...... iii

8x + 2y = 132 ...... iv

Subtract iv from iii

10y = 220

y = 220 / 10

y = 22

An abdominal routine last for 22 minutes

From equation I

2x + 3y = 88

2x + 3(22) = 88

2x + 66 = 88

2x = 88 - 66

2x = 22

x = 22/2

x = 11 minutes

An arm routine last for 11 minutes

ZE is the angle bisector of AngleYEX and the perpendicular bisector of Line segment G F. Line segment G X is the angle bisector
frozen [14]

Answer:

Point A is the center of the circle that passes through points E, F, and G and the center of the circle that passes through points X, Y, and Z.

Step-by-step explanation:

A is the intersection of angle bisectors, so is the incenter of triangle EFG. It is also the intersection of the perpendicular bisectors of the sides of triangle EFG, so is the circumcenter.

The altitudes at X, Y, and Z are perpendicular to sides EF, EG, and FG, and pass through the incenter, so X, Y, Z are points on the incircle.

A is the center of circles through E, F, and G, and through X, Y, and Z.

A box of jerseys for a pick-up game of basketball contains 9 extra-large jerseys, 6 large jerseys, and 5 medium jerseys. If you
aleksley [76]

Answer:

1/114 or 0.008772

Step-by-step explanation:

I am not very sure, my answer seems unlikely, but here's what I think:

There are 20 jerseys in the box to begin with, and 5 medium jerseys that you can have.

Therefore, the probability of you randomly grabbing a medium sized jersey is 5/20 or 1/4.

After taking out one medium sized jersey, there are 19 jerseys in the box and 4 medium jerseys you can pick from.

The probability of you randomly grabbing a medium sized jersey is 4/19.

After taking out another medium sized jersey, there are 18 jerseys left in the box and 3 medium jerseys you can pick from.

The probability of you randomly grabbing a medium sized jersey is 3/18.

To get the answer, you do 1/4 * 4/19 * 3/18, and get 1/114, or 0.00877192982.

If you round that to the nearest millionth, it's 0.008772

Don't judge me, it might not be correct.
