This is an opinion question, so it should be answered with your thoughts instead of mine but here it is anyway:

I think that presidents should be elected through a popular vote from the people because the people would know what they want, while the Electoral College may not fully sympathize or empathize with the people.

Answer:

I think that presidents should be elected by popular vote from the people because the people would know what they want, while the Electoral College may not fully make the people happy. Also I think that the presidents should be elected by the popular vote because it is an indirect election, is the total number of votes received in the first-phase election, as opposed to the votes cast by those elected to take part in the final election. On the other hand, I think that the electoral college isn't supposed to be the form of electing a president because in the electoral college just some people of the government can elect the president and that is not just for the rest of the people. So in conclusion the presidents should be elected by the popular vote because it is more democratic, since all people can vote.

Catherine II, also known as Catherine the Great, was an empress of Russia who ruled from 1762-1796, the longest reign of any female Russian leader. Known more for her affairs of the heart than for affairs of state, she nevertheless greatly expanded her country's empire. Her accomplishments are often overshadowed by the legends and rumors about her scandalous personal life.
