Answer:

0.6

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: Mean= $750

          Standard deviation= $60

First, lets find out z-score of the interval between $624 and $768.

z score= \frac{x-mean}{Standard deviation}

z score= \frac{624-750}{60}= \frac{-126}{60}

∴ z score for $624 is -2.1

Now, finding z score for $768

Z score= \frac{768-750}{60} = \frac{18}{60}

∴ z score for $768 is 0.3

As per the z score table, the value for -2.1 is 0.0179 and for 0.3 is 0.6179

Now, subtracting the value to get proportion

0.6179-0.0179= 0.6

∴ There are 0.6 proportion of laptops are in the range of $624 and $768

Jimmy Andrew and Richard collect comic books. Jimmy has five more comic books than Andrew, and Richard has four times as many co
adell [148]

Answer: Andrew = 20

Jimmy = 25

Richard = 100

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of Andrew's comic books be y.

Jimmy has five more comic books than Andrew. This means Jimmy has: y+5

Richard has four times as many comic book as jimmy. This means Richard has: 4(y+5) = 4y + 20

Since there are 145 comic books together. This can be rewritten as:

y + (y+5) + (4y+20) = 145

6y+25 = 145

6y = 145 - 25

y = 120/6

y = 20

Andrew has 20 comic books

Jimmy has five more comic books than Andrew. Jimmy has: 20+5 = 25

Richard has: 4y + 20 = 4(20) + 20 = 100
