Ideally because the elements become balanced such that the same amount of substance in the products is the same as the end product. Like how gases diffuse in a room. It kinda gets an equilibrium or how potassium per manganate spreads evenly in water. That’s an equilibrium

The ph of a 0. 102 m solution of a weak acid (ha) is 1. 15 ka for the weak acid is?
Advocard [28]

The pH of the weak acid is 6.93.

Given,

K= 1.15 *10^{-6}

c=0.102

[H]= K*c= 1.15 *10^{-6} * 0.102= 0.1173 *10^{-6}

p[H]= -log[H]= 6.93

Weak acid

A weak acid is one that partially separates into its ions in water or an aqueous solution. A strong acid, on the other hand, completely splits into its ions in water. The conjugate base of a weak acid is also a weak base, and vice versa for the conjugate acid of a weak base. Weak acids have a higher pH than strong acids at the same concentration. Simple arrows pointing left to right are used to represent the reaction of a strong acid ionising in water. On the other hand, a weak acid ionising in water has a double arrow reaction arrow, indicating that both the forward and reverse reactions take place at equilibrium.

568 cm3 of chlorine at 25° C will occupy what volume at -25° C while the pressure remains constant?
Vsevolod [243]

Answer:

474.3 cm³

Explanation:

Given data:

Initial volume of chlorine gas = 568 cm³

Initial temperature = 25°C

Final volume = ?

Final temperature = -25°C

Solution:

Initial temperature = 25°C (25+273 = 297 K)

Final temperature = -25°C (-25 +273 = 248 K)

The given problem will be solve through the Charles Law.

According to this law, The volume of given amount of a gas is directly proportional to its temperature at constant number of moles and pressure.

Mathematical expression:

V₁/T₁ = V₂/T₂

V₁ = Initial volume

T₁ = Initial temperature

V₂ = Final volume

T₂ = Final temperature

Now we will put the values in formula.

V₁/T₁ = V₂/T₂

V₂ = V₁T₂/T₁

V₂ = 568 cm³ × 248 K /297 K

V₂ = 140864 cm³.K / 297 K

V₂ = 474.3 cm³

Answer:

1 global warming is a cause for climate change. climate change, however is not always a result of global warming.

2 burning fossil fuels emits gasses into the air that damages the ozone layer.

3 the results of climate change can cause us to lose natural resources and for many species to go extinct.

Find ionic compounds
ella [17]

Answer:

1:1

Explanation:

The ratio of metal cationic atom to non-metal anionic atom in the compound is 1:1.

This is an ionic compound.

 • This is because metal cationic atom has two valence electrons.
 • Non-metal anionic oxygen has six valence electrons
 • Calcium loses two of its valence electrons to be isoelectronic with Ar and this confers a stable configuration to it.
 • Non-metal oxygen atom accepts the electrons and adds 2 to its 6 electrons to become isoelectronic with neon.
 • So, 1 metal cationic atom combines with 1 non-metal anionic atom to form the compound.
