To find out what r is, you'll need to move P and t to the other side.
To get rid of multiplication, you divide.
I/Pt= Prt/Pt

Answer: I/Pt= r

Estimate the size of a crowd walking in a charity fundraising march that occupies a rectangular space with dimensions of 10 feet
jolli1 [7]

Answer:

4000 is size of a crowd walking in a charity fundraising March.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Dimensions of rectangular space 10 feet by 12000 feet

So we can say that,

Length = 1200 ft

Width = 10 ft

Now we will calculate the area of rectangular space which is given by

Hence Area will be = length\times width= 10\ ft \times 1200 \ ft= 12000 \ ft^2

Now we know that 40 people occupy a rectangle measuring 10 feet by 12 feet.

Length = 12 ft

Width = 10 ft

Area = length\times width= 10\ ft \times 12 \ ft= 120 \ ft^2

It says that 40 people are occupied in 120 ft^2

So how many people will be there in 12000 ft^2

By using unitary method we get,

Number of people = \frac{40\times 12000 \ ft^2}{120 \ ft^2} = 4000 \ peoples

Size of a crowd walking in a charity fundraising March is 4000.

Which expression has a sum of a 11/12? pls help. explain step by step in a way a 13 year old will understand.
lana66690 [7]

c. they are all parts of 12, and when added together they equal 11/12. The formula to solve non proportionate fractions*or with different denominators* is to CROSS multiply and make the denominators equal, then add the numerators and SIMPLIFY.

*Cross multiply to make the denominator equal (you can google how to make fractions equal)

then add the numerators together

then simplify. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OF THE FORMULA AND DONT BE INTIMIDATED BY THE LOOK OF THE PROBLEM. They all have the same formula or method of solving. Good Luck!! I hope this helps.
