A(-2,1) ->(-1,-2) ->(-1.5,-3)
B(0,1)-> (-1,0)-> (-1.5,0)
C(-2,-3)->(3,-2) ->(4.5,-3)

What this trying to show is the first bracket is the points of a,b,c and if rotated clockwise you will get the “second bracket”. Then I used the center of dilation which is 3/2 but transformed it into a decimal 1.5 then multiplied by each numbers in the “second bracket” to get the “third bracket”. The bracket are the parentheses. I HOPE THIS HELPS

Factor 8x^2-24 by taking out the gcf
Ghella [55]

Answer:    8(x^2-3)

Since 24 = 8*3, we can factor out the GCF 8 like so

8x^2 - 24 = 8*x^2 - 8*3 = 8(x^2-3)

This is using the distributive property.

Find the slope-intercept form of an equation of the line perpendicular to the graph of x – 3y = 5 and passing through (0, 6).
Artyom0805 [142]

Answer:

y=-3x+6

Step-by-step explanation:

x-3y=5

y=1/3x-5/3

slope of perpendicular line is -3 (opposite reciprocals)

y=mx+b

x=0 and y=6

6=3x+b

6=3(0)+b

6=b

y=-3x+6
