Answer:

A tropism is a growth toward or away from a stimulus. Common stimuli that influence plant growth include light, gravity, water, and touch. Plant tropisms differ from other stimulus generated movements, such as nastic movements, in that the direction of the response depends on the direction of the stimulus

Answer:

The three stimuli that cause the plants to exhibit tropism are:

1. Touch: This stimulus triggers thigmotropism, which is the turning or bending of the plant and tendrils in response to the touch.

2. Light: This stimulus triggers phototropism. It is how the plant reacts toward the direction of the light source. In this case, the stem may bend in response to the direction of the light.

3. Gravity: This stimulus triggers phototropism gravitropism, which is responsible for the downward growth of roots into the soil.

. How does temperature change with altitude in the troposphere?
olga55 [171]

The troposphere is hotter near the Earth's surface because heat from the Earth warms this air. As the altitude increases the number of air molecules decreases, the average of their kinetic energy decreases.

Does this help?

if it does please mark me brainliest! thanks:)

Golf courses make use of fertilizers to keep the grass green and healthy. Using your knowledge of osmosis, explain how applying
Nostrana [21]
Osmosis is the diffusion of water. Water tends to diffuse to the area with a higher concentration of solute. (Particles) In this case, Im assuming the fertilizer is the solute because it contains chemicals. Therefore, since water tends to diffuse to higher concentration of solute, the water in the grass will diffuse out to dilute the fertilizer on the surface of the grass. Without water, the grass will be dehydrated and shrivel up and die. Hopefully you find my answer helpful!
