Subtract equation (1) from (2).

6m = 1221

Divide both sides by -6

m = 203.5

Substitute (m) into equation 1

3m + b = 288.

3(203.5) + b = 288.

610.5 + b = 288

b = 610.5 - 288

b = 322.5

Two servings of Mc Donald quarter pound has 203.5mg of cholesterol.
