7x+15=12x+5
Step #1 Subtract 12 from both 7x and 12x on the left and on the right. This is because we only want one x, and combining like terms is not an option therefore we must eliminate.
7x+15= 12x+5
-12 -12
-5x+15=5
Step #2 subtract 15 from both sides.
-5x+15=5
-15 -15
-5x=-10
Step #3 Divided both sides by coefficient which in this case is -5. We want x by itself
x=2

Really hope this made sense. I can help with other problems if you’ll like

Hello.

The answer is: The Commutative property

The Commutative property states that order does not matter. Multiplication and addition are commutative. Commutative is also when you change the order of the equation but its still that same answer.

Have a nice day.

Below represents the proof that the quadrilateral QRST is a parallelogram

<h3>How to prove that QRST is a parallelogram?</h3>

The coordinates are given as:

Q = (-1,-1)

R = (2,9)

S = (-4,5)

T = (-7,-5)

Calculate the length of each side using:

d = \sqrt{(x_2 -x_1)^2 + (y_2 -y_1)^2}

So, we have:

QR = \sqrt{(-1 - 2)^2 + (-1 -9)^2} = \sqrt{109}

RS = \sqrt{(-4 - 2)^2 + (5 - 9)^2} = \sqrt{52}

ST = \sqrt{(-7 + 4)^2 + (-5 - 5)^2} = \sqrt{109}

TQ = \sqrt{(-7 + 1)^2 + (-5 + 1)^2} = \sqrt{52}

The above computations show that opposite sides are equal.

Next, we determine the slope of each side using:

m = \frac{y_2 -y_1}{x_2 -x_1}

So, we have:

QR = \frac{9 + 1}{2 + 3} = \frac{10}3

RS = \frac{5-9}{-4 - 2} = \frac{2}3

ST = \frac{5+5}{-4 + 7} = \frac{10}3

TQ = \frac{-5+1}{-7 + 1} = \frac{2}3

The above computations show that opposite sides are parallel, because they have equal slope

Hence, the quadrilateral QRST is a parallelogram

What is the answer for 34-54x
Brums [2.3K]

Answer:

2(17-27x)

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the question was incomplete this is the only answer I have for you.

If you were looking for the answer of X I would need a answer for the equation

Anyways... you want to factor out 2 from the expression since there are two numbers

Once you factored out the two (divide each number by 2) you'll get:

2(17-27x)
