It was during such an event that Eupeithes´s son was slaughtered by Ulysses and then Eupeithes wants to rise up against him and his rule.He claims for revenge before a council and the council validates his petition.With the favor of the gods on his side, Ulysses wants to stop the upheaval but Eupeithes insists on his plans and marches with his men to kill Ulysses .Unfortunately, he is killed by Laerthes, Ulysses ´ father.
