^separating x so i can distribute but the ones that are sitting weirdly in the  parentheses (see how there isnt a sign separating 9x and 2? im going to seperate them via parentheses which is the same thing as adding a sign there. Same with -4x and 2)

we are going to distribute now. 9x*2, 9x*-8 -4x*2 -4x*-5x

(18x-72x) - (-8x+20x)
