X=4. If a triangle is equal to 180 and there is a right angle, subtract 90 from 180. You should then take 15x and 8x-2 to form an equation with the 90. So, 15x+8x-2=90 or 23x-2=90. Then add two on both sides and you’ll have 23x=92 and then boom x=4. Sorry that doesn’t make sense.

Step-by-step explanation:

Each problem

1.) a.) i.)   we see f(4) = 2  on the graph  the line goes through point (4, 2)

   a.)  ii.)  f(-3) = -5

1.) b.)  There are only 2 zeros for f(x)  which intersect the x-axis in only 2 points.

 x = -5  and x = 2  are the only 2 zeros.

1.) c.)  only for   -3 < x < 5  is the function  f(x) increasing.

12/15 in simplest form
alex41 [277]
\frac{12}{15} in simplest form:

First, find the greatest common factor (GCF) of 12, 15.
Factors of 12: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12
Factors of 15: 1, 3, 5, 15
The GCF is 3.
Second, divide the numerator (12) by the GCF. / Your problem should look like: 12 ÷ 3 = 4
Third, divide the denominator (15) by the GCF. / Your problem should look like: 15 ÷ 3 = 5
Fourth, rewrite the fraction in the simplified form. / Your problem should look like: \frac{4}{5}

The lengths of the sides of a triangle are consecutive even integers. The perimeter is 174 feet.
oksano4ka [1.4K]

Answer:

56,58,60

Step-by-step explanation:

x = 1st side of triangle

x+2 = 2nd side

x+4 = 3rd side

P = side1 + side 2 + side 3

174 = x+ x+2  + x+4

Combine like terms

174 = 3x+6

Subtract 6 from each side

174 -6 = 3x+6-6

168 = 3x

Divide by 3

168/3 = 3x/3

56 =x

1st side = 56

2nd side = 58

3rd side = 60
