Answer:

20/3

Step-by-step explanation:

If Ryan rides his bike 5 miles in 3/4 of an hour, then he rides 5/3 miles in 1/4 of a hour (divide both by 3). To get to a full hour from 1/4, you need to multiply it by 4. You must do the same for 5/3. 5/3*4 is equal to 20/3.

Daniella made gift bows from 8 yards of ribbon. The bows are all the same size. If she made 16 bows, how much ribbon did she use
Virty [35]
She used half a yard worth of ribbon per each bow, you can tell this as 16 divided by 8 is 2. Therefore for every 2 ribbons she was using a yard of ribbon. Split that and you get half a yard

Hey guys happy Tuesday ! I need some home work help ASAP work and answer pls love y’all ❤️
Strike441 [17]
1. Multiply 5 by 2 since the piece is twice as long. That is 10.
Multiply 4 by 3 since the piece is 3 times as long. That is 12.
Her piece is 10 x 12.
2 sides of 10 & 2 sides of 12.
Multiply 10 & 12 by 2 to get 20 and 24. Add them together to get 44 inches, which is the perimeter.

2. Multiply 4 x 2 since length is twice width. That is 8.
Multiply 8 x 4 to get the area of the red paper. That is 32.
Multiply 3 x 7 to get the area of the blue paper. That is 21.
Subtract 21 from 32 to get the amount of red paper that wasn't covered up.
11 square cm were not covered up.

Hope this helps!

1. Consider the rational numbers 4/13 and 3/10.
Murljashka [212]

A)4/13 would be the larger number since if you were to try to add them, 4/13 = 40/130 and 3/10 = 39/130, 40/130 > 39/130

B) A rational number between them would be 39.5/130.
