Artemon [7]
Based on the given problem above, the proportion of the students responding to the survey that said that they liked at least one of the two side dishes is 3/10. Because<span> 30% said they like tater tots and all the ones who said they liked fries are the same people then you're only looking at the 30% wherein 30/100 is 3/10 which makes 3/10 the right answer.</span>

Elena L [17]

Answer:

1)

12\sqrt{18}-3\sqrt{50}+\sqrt{32}

12\sqrt{9}\sqrt{2}-3\sqrt{25}   \sqrt{2} +\sqrt{16} \sqrt{2}

12\times3\sqrt{2} -3\times5\sqrt{2}+4\sqrt{2}

36\sqrt{2}-15\sqrt{2}+4\sqrt{2}

25\sqrt{2}

2)

\frac{1}{5+2\sqrt{6}}

Multiply 5-2\sqrt{6}:

\frac{1\times \left(5-2\sqrt{6}\right)}{\left(5+2\sqrt{6}\right)\left(5-2\sqrt{6}\right)}

Apply Difference of Squares formula: (a+b)(a-b)=a^2-b^2

\frac{5-2\sqrt{6}}{5^2-\left(2\sqrt{6}\right)^2}

\frac{5-2\sqrt{6}}{25-2^2\left(\sqrt{6}\right)^2}

\frac{5-2\sqrt{6}}{25-4\times6}

\frac{5-2\sqrt{6}}{1}

{5-2\sqrt{6}}

a = 5, b = -2

CAN SOMEONE JUST PLEASE ANSWER THIS ASAP FOR BRAINLIEST!!!!
-BARSIC- [3]
When the ball hit the ground, the height of the ball will be zero. So using the value of h(x) as zero in the given equation, we can find the time in which the ball will hit the ground.

0 = -(x-2)^2 + 16

(x-2)^2 = 16

x-2 = 16

x-2 = 4

x = 6

This means the ball will hit the ground 6 seconds after Amir threw it.
