Mathematics

Answer/Step-by-step explanation

1. When adding real numbers with the same sign the sum will have the same sign as the numbers added.

2. When adding real numbers with different signs you subtract the lesser absolute value from the greater one. The sum will then have the same sign as the number with the greater absolute value.

3. There are a couple of properties of addition:

The additive commutative property tells us that the order in which you add the numbers does not change the sum.

4. And the additive associative property tells us that it also that the order in which we group three or more numbers does not affect the sum.

5. The additive identity property tells us that the sum of a number and 0 is always the number.

6. And the additive inverse property tells us that if you add a number with its opposite you will always get 0

David bought a game on sale for $6 less than half its original price.she paid $88 for the jacket. What was the original price
bulgar [2K]
We can't tell with the information given.  We don't know the connection
between the price David paid for the game, and the price his sister paid
for the jacket.

This question is a lot like a radio station out in the country at night that's
not tuned in very well, or a billboard with part of the top layer peeled off.

Math 7a using number sense to solve equations
Anika [276]
Simple...

you have: \frac{n}{3} =12

and

\frac{n}{3} =-12

To solve for....\frac{n}{3} =12

Multiply to remove the denominator-->>

3*  \frac{n}{3} =12*3

n=12*3

n=36

Then-->>>

\frac{n}{3} =-12

Do the same thing-->>

3* \frac{n}{3} =-12*3

n=-12*3

n=-36

Thus, your answer.
