If by power you are referring to physical strength, Alex would benefit from volleyball and archery or tennis and gymnastics. As bicycling and swimming are non-weight bearing sports, these would not play to Alex's physical strengths.
I do not think that testing should be done on animals. Why are you testing human products on animals in the first place? Test products that you want to use on the people that will it be given to.
