Survival and prejudice are the central themes of the diary of Anne Frank. In the diary, Anne is going through her adolescent life. The life of the Jewish people outside Germany was also described in the diary. Discrimination was also evident since Anne and her sister were only allowed to study in Jewish schools.
The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank is the firsthand account of a teenager whose family has gone into hiding in order to escape persecution by the Nazi regime. It is related to the themes and issues of its historical period because so many other families either had to go into hiding or suffered the consequences of following the law during the Holocaust.
