So try and recognize the pattern. For level 1, you have 1 box and 12 cans. In 2, you have 3 boxes and 36 cans. 12/1 is 12, 36/3 is 12 and so on. The # of boxes times 12 is the number of cans. The # of boxes in the display is equal to the total number of boxes in each level. Level 5 will mean 1+2+3+4+5=15. Level 6 is 1+2+3+4+5+6=21. So if 6 has 21 display boxes, we can do 21*12 and you will get 252. Your answer is E, 252 cans.

How do you write 4/6 as a unit fraction
lawyer [7]

Answer:

1/6

Step-by-step explanation:

1/6 + 1/6 + 1/6 + 1/6 = 4/6. A unit fraction has a numerator of 1 so since 4 is the numerator in 4/6 You should add 1/6 four times.

Hope this helps!

1.(03.03 MC) The table below represents a linear function f(x) and the equation represents a function g(x).
Mama L [17]
The slope of f(x) is 10 and the slope of g(x) is 5; g(x) has the greater y-intercept.

To find the slope of f(x), we use the slope formula:  m=(y₂-y₁)/(x₂-x₁) = (-1--11)/(0--1) = (-1+11)/(0+1) = 10/1 = 10.

To find the slope of g(x), we just look at the form it is in.  It is written in slope-intercept form, y=mx+b, where m is the slope.  The number in g(x) that would correspond to m is 5.

The y-intercept of f(x) is found by looking at the points.  Any y-intercept will have an x-coordinate of 0; the only point like this in the table is (0, -1) so the y-intercept is -1.

For g(x), we again look at the form y=mx+b.  The number that corresponds with b is the y-intercept; in this case, it is 1.  1>-1, so g(x) has the larger y-intercept.

Colleen can run 2 miles in 15 minutes. If she keeps us the same pace, how many minutes will it take to run 5 miles?
irinina [24]

15minutes / 2miles = 7.5 minutes to run a single mile.

7.5minutes * 5miles = 37.5minutes

37.5minutes to run 5 miles

Which of the following functions results in a graph that shows exponential decay? f(x) = 4(0.8)x f(x) = 0.7(1.2)x f(x) = 12(3)x
Korvikt [17]

The function will show exponential decay if one of the following is true

  • the base is less than 1 and the exponent is positive
  • the base is greater than 1 and the exponent is negative

The function that meets the requirement for exponential decay is ...

f(x)=4\cdot 0.8^{x}\quad\text{matches the first choice}
