To determine tax, I like to use this method...
1. Make the percent into a decimal
For exmaple, the pretty high tax of 8% would be 0.08, since you need to move the decimal two places to the left regardless.
2. Multiply
For this word problem, multiply 0.08 and 750, or in other words, multiply the original price by the percent/decimal. 0.08×750=60
3. Subtract the tax from the original price if needed!
This example only wants the tax, so this step if not needed, but if it were, subtract 60 from 750 to get a total price of $690.
It will take him 2 hours to make the recipe-- start to finish
hope this helps, Mandy! :-)

Because Z is the midpoint, both sides need to be equal to each other:
4x-28 = 24
Add 28 to each side:
4x = 52
Divide both sides by 4:
x = 52 / 4
X = 13, RZ = 24, RT = 48
The answer is C.
Answer:
–0.91
Step-by-step explanation:
The correlation coefficient for this data set will be negative, since the dependent variable decreases as the independent variable increases.
Since the data appears to be fairly linear, the correlation coefficient will be close to 1; this means -0.91 is our best choice.
