Answer:

The answer is the second one.

Explanation:

The answer is the second one because males have one x chromosome and one y chromosome. Females have only two x chromosomes. B makes more sense because males are more likely to have to deal with se-linked siorders because of their lack of x chromosomes.

Does this help?

Photosynthesis transforms blank into chemical energy by blank sugars. Cellular respiration releases the blank from food by blank
creativ13 [48]

Photosynthesis and Cellular respiration, both cellular processes are important for life, however, we need to understand what happens to confirm this information....

Photosynthesis

Most life on Earth depends on photosynthesis. The process is carried out by plants, algae, and some types of bacteria, which capture energy from sunlight to produce oxygen (O2) and chemical energy stored in glucose (a sugar). Herbivores then obtain this energy by eating plants, and carnivores obtain it by eating herbivores.

Inside the plant cell are small organelles called chloroplasts, which store the energy of sunlight. Within the thylakoid membranes of the chloroplast is a light-absorbing pigment called chlorophyll, which is responsible for giving the plant its green color. During photosynthesis, chlorophyll absorbs energy from blue- and red-light waves, and reflects green-light waves, making the plant appear green.

Cellular respiration

Cellular respiration, the process by which organisms combine oxygen with foodstuff molecules, diverting the chemical energy in these substances into life-sustaining activities and discarding, as waste products, carbon dioxide and water.

One objective of the degradation of foodstuffs is to convert the energy contained in chemical bonds into the energy-rich compound adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which captures the chemical energy obtained from the breakdown of food molecules and releases it to fuel other cellular processes.

The karyotype of one species of primate has 48 chromosomes. In a particular female, cell division malfunctions, and she produces
Rom4ik [11]

Answer:

E) Either anaphase I or II

Explanation:

Failure of segregation of homologous chromosomes during anaphase I or failure of segregation of sister chromatids during anaphase II leads to the presence of the abnormal number of chromosomes in resultant gametes. In the given example, the egg mother cell with 48 chromosomes (24 pairs) would enter meiosis I but the failure of one pair of homologous chromosomes to segregate from each other followed by normal meiosis II would result in the formation of two gametes with one extra chromosome and two gametes with one less chromosome.

On the other hand, if the nondisjunction occurs at anaphase II of meiosis II, two normal gametes, one gamete with one extra chromosome and one gamete with one less chromosome will be formed. Therefore, nondisjunction at anaphase I or anaphase II would have resulted in the production of eggs with one extra chromosome.
